Choose DVD playback settings

Choose if you want the DVD menu to start when you load the DVD, the video to start automatically and end with the DVD menu, or no DVD menu and the video plays in a continuous loop.

DVD aspect ratio

Choose between a 4:3 (old square TV) or 16:9 (new HD TVs) aspect ratio.

Video format

Choose between NTSC (United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, South Korea, and Taiwan) or PAL (used by other countries) video format.

Choose between a fast, medium, or slow burn speed. If you get an error when Windows DVD Maker burns the DVD, try slowing it down.

If you don’t have much room on your main hard drive or you want to speed things up a bit by doing the work on a striped volume you can change the temporary file location by clicking Browse and selecting it there.
