Introduction

On rare occasions you might need to uninstall a Windows Update to fix a problem it caused. This guide shows you how to uninstall a Windows update on Vista.

Uninstall a Windows Update

Note: Not all Windows Updates can be uninstalled.

  1. Open the Control Panel and go to Programs and Features.
  2. Click View installed updates in the top of the left column.
  3. Rick-click the updated you want to uninstall and select uninstall.
