Manage Network Sessions
Posted By Brent Trahan On January 2, 2008 @ 12:54 pm In All, Networking, Vista, Windows | No Comments
Have you ever wondered who’s connected to your computer via a network? This guide shows you how to find out who’s connected to your computer and how to disconnect someone if needed in Windows Vista.
If any computers are currently connected to your computer you’ll see a list of them in the Sessions section of the Computer Management window.
Close a Session
It’s possible to disconnect a person from your computer by closing their session by right-clicking their session in Computer Management and clicking Close Session.
Note: Closing a session will not block them from getting back on your computer. It’ll only close their current connection.
