Install Windows Vista without a Product Key

Introduction

Yes you can install any version of Windows Vista without a product key and legally use it for 30 days. Microsoft made this possible to cut down piracy.

How it’s done

  1. During a clean install or upgrade of Windows Vista you’ll be asked for your product key.

    Leave the product key box empty and click Next.

  2. Click No in the message that pops up.

  3. Select the version of Windows Vista you want to install and check off I have selected the edition of Windows that I purchased, and then click Next.

This full featured evaluation version of Windows Vista will run for 30 days without being activated.
