Posted on: 03.04.08 by Brent Trahan

Learn how to exclude programs from being removed, cleaned, or quarantined by Windows Defender.

So you download a program and it’s flagged as being possible malware (virus, spyware, or adware) by Windows Defender but you’re sure it’s not bad or you don’t care.

This guide shows you how to allow items (programs) so that Windows Defender doesn’t get rid of them.

Warning: If Windows Defender has flagged items as possible malware there’s a strong chance they are. Allow them at your own risk.
