How-to Adjust Microphone Levels

  1. Open Sound in the Control Panel (classic view).
  2. Select the Recording tab.

  3. Click Properties.
  4. Select the Levels tab.

  5. Move the slider under Microphone Boost to the right to amplify the sound captured by the microphone.
