Introduction

Occasionally there are Windows updates you’ll never install. An example would be the 2 gigabytes of language packs in Vista Ultimate. This guide shows you how to hide unwanted Windows updates from showing up in Windows Update for Windows Vista.

How to Hide Windows Updates

  1. Open the start menu, click All Programs, and then click Windows Update.
  2. Click View available updates.
