Introduction
Secure Logon is when you have to press Ctrl+Alt+Del on your keyboard to unlock your computer before you can logon to Windows. This is a common feature of business computers on a domain network. Secure Logon guarantees an authentic login prompt.
This guide shows you how to enable Secure Logon on a non-domain Windows Vista computer.
Enable Secure Logon
- Type netplwiz in the Start Menu’s Search box.
- Click netplwiz in the search results.
- Click the Advanced tab in the User Accounts window.
- Check off Require users to press Ctrl+Alt+Del under Secure Logon.
