Edit missing or wrong album info in Windows Media Players library.
Introduction
This guide shows you how to edit a CDs Album Name, Artist, Genre, Tracks, Contributing Artist, and Composer data in Windows Media Player.
Edit Album Info
- Open Windows Media Player.
- Open the Library.
- Right-click the album you want to edit’s album cover or a song and click Find Album Info.
- Click Edit located on the bottom left of the find album information window.
- Edit the albums info and click Next to save the changes.
Hint: If you only need to edit the name of a song click the song one time in the library and click it one more time shortly after (about a 1 second pause). The song title will become highlighted and you should be able to edit it.
