If you’re evaluating Windows Vista here’s an easy way to find out how long you have left before the evaluation license runs out.
- Open the command prompt (Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt).
- Type slmgr -xpr in the command prompt and then press enter on your keyboard.
- Wait a bit and a message will appear telling you the expiration date of the Windows Vista license or that the license is permanent.
